The second release of Family Secrets introduces several key visual and story updates designed to improve the overall experience and set the stage for what’s ahead.

Technical & Visual Improvements
While working on this update, I discovered an issue with how reflections behaved under dynamic lighting — specifically with the skin shaders used on certain characters. To fix this, I’ve replaced the skin assets for Jun, Mia, Kris, and Saraya.
These characters may look slightly different from the first release, but the update allows for smoother lighting transitions, more natural reflections, and improved overall consistency in scenes.

Story Progression
On the narrative side, we continue to follow Feng as he struggles to navigate young adulthood while coping with the emotional fallout of what he witnessed in the first release. This chapter also gives players a closer look at the daily lives of several side characters, offering new perspectives on their personalities and relationships.
